Neutz Automotive is seeking a team member to join our team and assist us in delivering excellent service to our customers, vendors, and internal team members.

 

Team Members’ key duties will include tracking inventory, ordering, and receiving parts, managing stock levels, setting prices, developing relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices, communicating with technicians and customers about orders, and utilizing Automotive management systems like Tek Metric. Team Member must possess effective communication skills and at least two years or more technical knowledge of auto parts and experience with Auto Repair Software applications like TekMetrics or Shop Monkey.

 

You must have five years of experience in the Auto Repair Business. (Please do not inquire if you do not have the required experience stated)

 

Salary Beginning $65K – Additional Bonus Opportunity of $25K per year.

Core responsibilities

 

Inventory management:

Ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking the parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock while minimizing overstock and obsolescence. Conducting physical inventory counts and keeping detailed records of parts.

Parts identification:

Using catalogs, computer systems, and VIN numbers to accurately identify the correct parts for a specific vehicle.

Supplier relations:

Maintaining positive relationships with vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of parts that meet cost and quality standards.

Customer and technician support:

Answering customer questions if necessary, providing order status updates, and ensuring technicians have the parts they need to complete repairs.

Sales and operations:

Implementing systems to streamline parts retrieval and processing, and ensuring the department runs smoothly and efficiently Previous experience as a parts manager or in a similar role is often required

Reporting:

Create and analyze reports on department performance, sales, and inventory.

Organization:

Keeping the parts department clean and organized and processing returns and core charges.

 

Required skills and qualifications

Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

Proficiency in Auto Repair software applications and Microsoft Office.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Strong Technical knowledge of automotive parts and systems.

Organizational and meticulous skills.

 

Computer skills:

Proficiency with computer systems, including Auto Repair management software and POS systems, is necessary.

Other requirements:

A valid driver's license is required, and physical requirements can lift to 50 lbs.
