Accounting and Administrative Assistant
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service at all times
- Answers the phone in a friendly professional manner
- Accurately performs essential financial administrative tasks: posting entries, verifying and balancing general ledger accounts, maintaining financial records, account reconcilements, filing, scanning, etc.
- Cross trains, provides support and acts as a backup covering the responsibilities of the front desk receptionist and outpatient therapy office manager, as needed
- Supports the Chief Finance Officer by performing administrative duties and assisting with accounts receivable/payable, audits, reporting and special projects
- Maintains confidentially at all times regarding any and all information pertaining to the position and the business office
Education / Experience: Associate degree in accounting or related field.
Substitutes for Associate degree
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in an accounting/bookkeeping related field
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, accounts receivable/payable, & bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable / dependable worker with a “can do” attitude and commitment to complete tasks and follow through
- Proficiency in Microsoft office or Google Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Energetic, positive, well organized and capable of functioning effectively in and independent and team environment
- Valid US Driver’s License
Salary: $17.00 – 20.00 per hour
