Automation Service Technician working from a home office servicing clients in the Springfield MA area.
- Familiarity with DC and AC drives, controls, PLCs, HMIs and the ability to modify some code in the field
- Ability to read and understand complex schematics, drawings, electro-mechanical diagrams
- Dedication to maximum machine performance and consistency of customer product
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred, but not required
- Skilled with commissioning, trouble-shooting and upgrades
- Desire to seek systems integration challenges and new technology
- Innovative problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Craft and technical services for commercial industry clients
- Hands-on mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Providing customer support for parts and material orders
- Designing Automated Control Systems for manufacturing applications
- Trouble-shooting manufacturing equipment
- Occasional overnight travel required
You are a great fit for our team if you have:
- Experience with gear reducers and drive systems
- A strong background in AC electromechanical and solid-state motor control systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team
- Basic computer skills to work with web-based applications
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- A commitment to working safely
We provide our Service Technicians with:
- Competitive pay provided with overtime after 40 hours of work and / or weekends.
- Company issued service vehicle or personal vehicle mileage reimbursement, and cell phone.
- Hours: 7:00AM – 3:30PM Monday – Friday. Overtime required according to business needs.
