At Effica Health, we’re redefining what midlife and menopause care can look like for women. We’re a fast-growing virtual care platform delivering evidence-informed support through perimenopause and beyond.

We are seeking highly skilled, compassionate and collaborative Nurse Practitioners to support other Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Clinical Pharmacists within our women’s health clinical team. In this virtual care role, you will work to your full scope of practice providing consultative oversight, lead complex case reviews, lead quality improvement reviews and serve as a resource for team members managing menopause assessments and treatment planning. 

You will ensure clinical excellence by reviewing and approving treatment recommendations, providing second-line clinical evaluations when needed, and guiding patients and providers through nuanced decision-making. Your presence supports a culture of shared leadership and quality assurance in digital women’s health care. 

Key Responsibilities 


Team Support & Clinical Oversight:

  • Serve as a clinical resource and prescriber to RNs and pharmacists during menopause care assessments
  • Support team-based care by mentoring the clinical team and standardizing handoffs, communication, and escalation protocols
  • Provide second-line clinical evaluations for complex cases
  • Review and co-sign care plans involving clinical concerns

Virtual Patient Support:

  • Conduct virtual follow-ups when higher-acuity assessment is warranted
  • Offer clarification or detailed counselling when requested by team members or patients. 
  • Review and manage high-risk cases, abnormal investigations, and care escalations across jurisdictions


Collaborative Leadership:

  • Lead clinical quality assurance including chart reviews, audit cycles, and escalation case reviews
  • Mentor and coach team members on menopause protocols and evidence updates
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in assessment templates and digital tools


Documentation & EMR Workflow:

  • Maintain complete, timely, and patient-centered records within Effica’s technology platform. 
  • Support standardization of notes and documentation and ensure compliance with all clinical documentation standards and relevant provincial scopes of practice
  • Flag risks, trends, or training needs to the Executive Director of Care

Qualifications 


  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing with one or more provincial regulatory bodies
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an NP in primary care or women’s health
  • Deep understanding of menopause, menopausal hormone therapy, non hormonal therapies and symptom management
  • Comfort reviewing and advising on interdisciplinary care plans
  • Excellent communication, mentorship, and virtual care delivery skills
  • Proficiency with EMRs and digital communication platforms
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner (MSCP) or equivalent 
  • Participation in clinical education, mentorship, or quality assurance roles
