From ensuring guest kayaks are clean and dry and assisting guests as they get into their kayak and launch, to helping those same guests as they exit their kayak, dockhands provide a watchful eye over guests and equipment while working in a fast-paced, positive environment!

JOB DUTIES
What You Can Expect Day-to-Day
While no one day is the same, you'll be responsible for the following critical tasks as a dockhand
-
Keeping guest kayaks clean and dry
-
Assisting guests into and out of their kayak and/or stabilizing guests™ kayaks for them
-
Assisting tour guides in keeping certain equipment organized (e.g. paddles)
-
Ensuring that the area you work in is clean and ready for guests
-
Providing an extra set of eyes to ensure guest safety around the dock
QUALIFICATIONS
What it Takes
We are looking for considerate, active, team players who know what it means to serve our guests and ensure that we are providing five star experiences!
Minimum Required:
-
MUST be 15+ yrs. of age and able to work on weekends and maintain a flexible schedule (nights, holidays)

High School diploma or equivalent
-
Certified CPR/First Aid training (if not, we can provide)

Strong customer service skills
-
Demonstrated professionalism
-
Hard working
-
Physical requirements: able to lift 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance), able to stand most of the day, able to bend down/kneel when necessary
