MicroAge is hiring a Field Hardware technician

Hardware, Hardware, Hardware, you must love fixing computer hardware, printers, desktops, laptops. You are a skilled technician that thrives on a full workload. You will be mobile and travel to clients in Saskatoon and surrounding area. You will be responsible for efficiently and cost-effectively maintaining and repairing Printers, PCs, laptops and other office products while focusing on the customer experience.

The position often involves working under pressure with tight deadlines. This position is client-facing and therefore you must present a professional, diplomatic and pleasant image. You will be excited about working independently as part of a remotely led team.


  What we need you to do


·         Kill service tickets! Line ‘em up and knock ‘em down.


·         Repair printers, laptops desktops and other hardware


·         Keep your skills current


·         Be a solid team member working with our technical and admin departments


·         Treat every customer like they are family


 We need you to be someone that:

 What we need you to know


·         Excellent technical skills


·         Willingness to find solutions and get technology repaired


·         Solid organizational and time management skills


·         A+ certification


 Hours/Availability: Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00

Must have a valid driver's license we will provide a vehicle for work


Other Beneficial Skills:


·         Lexmark Service Authorized in either CS/CX 7xx, 8xx or 92x would be beneficial


·         HP Service Authorized Printers, Desktops, Laptop or Switches would be beneficial


·         You enjoy interacting with people and are confident on the phone and using email.


·         Native English or 7 and above score on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).


·         Canadian Citizens have a valid Canadian Work Permit


·         Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis, including Pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes.


 Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000-$45,000 /year
