Industrial Electrician with Mechanical Abilities

The Company: EFS-plastics is one of North America’s leading plastic recyclers, focused on converting post-consumer mixed plastics (#3-7) and plastic film into high-quality resin pellets. As global concern around plastic waste rises, EFS looks to grow by providing a sustainable alternative to virgin plastic. We currently have two locations in Listowel, ON, and Hazelton, PA.

The Position: We’re looking for an Industrial Electrician with Mechanical Abilities who is eager to work with our Engineering and Maintenance teams to maintain and improve our fully automated processes.

Weekdays- Monday to Fridays

Opportunity for Overtime.

DUAL TICKET not required but is an asset

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and troubleshoot existing production lines, electrically

- Assist our Maintenance team and Electricians in their work

- Assembly and wiring of new control panels

- Field wiring of added drives

- Be on call for emergencies

Requirements:

- Certified Electrician

- Experience in an industrial environment

- Industrial Mechanical Abilities

- Confident in reading electrical schematics

- Program troubleshooting experience on Allen Bradley PLCs & VFDs

- Motivated and self-driven

- Excellent communication skills

- Work well in a team environment
