Warehouse Associate

About: The Snohomish Co-Op is a retail farm & feed store with a gas station. We have been serving the local Snohomish community for over 85 years. We are dedicated to customer service, serving over 8,500 members. We have a vast inventory of over 8,500 items to offer our repeat & new customers. 

Summary: Full and part-time positions available. Starting wages begin at $15.50/hour. A warehouse operator and associate at the Snohomish Co-Op provides the highest levels of customer service to everyone who walks through our doors. Warehouse employees are expected to be friendly, knowledgeable, and have excellent communication. Applicants should be self motivated and eager to learn and develop new skills. You will need to multi-task duties such as loading customers with products, unloading deliveries, restocking product, maintaining cleanliness in the yard, and other assigned tasks. Looking for long-term candidates who are willing to grow with the company. Must be 18+ to be forklift certified. Compensation can be altered based on experience. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather customer orders of various items located in the yard & warehouse
• Operate forklift -- loading & unloading pallets of product
• Assist customers with specialized farm and feed knowledge
• Occasionally provide customers with assistance pumping propane & fuel
• Keep the warehouse & yard clean and tidy
• Assist with counting products for inventory maintenance
• Cross-train inside the store, operating cash register & POS system
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18+
• Forklift operating experience is a plus 
• Must have scheduling flexibility -- mornings, evenings, & weekends
• Farm experience and knowledge is highly preferred
• Must be able to consistently lift 85+ pounds repeatedly
