Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, the intern will support the HR Department in the daily application of various processes, including recruitment, labour relations, organizational development, and compliance with labour laws and standards. Based at the Montréal office, the internship will be carried out on a 40‑hour per week schedule, Monday to Friday (5‑2), with occasional visits to the Windfall mine site.

Key Responsibilities

•Support and assist on‑site HR Advisors in their day‑to‑day activities;

•Participate in the full recruitment process: workforce needs assessment, job postings, candidate screening, and interviews;

•Support managers during employee onboarding and integration;

•Participate in the implementation of HR projects and continuous improvement of internal processes;

•Support internal clients in the application of HR processes;

•Compile various human resources data and prepare internal reports;

•Participate in various committees organized by the Human Resources Department;

•Perform any other related duties as required.


Required Qualifications

•Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Business Administration with a Human Resources Management focus, or any other relevant academic program.


Technical Skills

•Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;

•Knowledge of Payworks or other HR management systems (asset);

•Intermediate level of spoken and written English (strong asset).


Basic skills

•Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

•Team spirit and a strong sense of collaboration;

•Well‑developed planning and organizational skills;

•Ability to work an atypical schedule;

•Demonstrate discretion and diplomacy.


Conditions

•Four (4)‑month internship;

•40‑hour work week, Monday to Friday (5‑2);

•Based at the Montréal office;

•Competitive salary offered based on level of education.
