Job Description
Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for a performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for the environment and expertise in marketing.
While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of their ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management
- Assist in creating social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Schedule and monitor content across various platforms.
Market Research
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience demographics.
- Compile data to assist in developing marketing strategies.
Campaign Support
- Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns.
- Track and report on campaign performance metrics.
Event Coordination
- Help organize promotional events, webinars, or trade shows.
- Support logistics, including registration, materials preparation, and follow-up communication.
Social Media Management
- Monitor and engage with followers on social media platforms.
- Analyze performance metrics like reach, engagement, and clicks.
Administrative Support
- Maintain marketing databases and CRM tools.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, or internal teams as needed.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Understanding of digital marketing, branding, and social media strategies.
- Familiarity with concepts like SEO, SEM, and market research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Ability to interpret marketing metrics and data.
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfort in creating and presenting reports or marketing content.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Interest in trends, branding, and consumer behavior.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team.
Experience (Optional but Beneficial)
- Previous internships, volunteer work, or projects related to marketing.
- Experience with online platforms (WordPress, Email marketing tools, Adwords)
