Muskoka Landing Retirement Lodge is a premier licensed retirement community in Huntsville, Ontario, offering 100 well-appointed suites along with 14 exclusive lakeside townhomes. Located approximately 124 km north of Barrie and 76 km south of Parry Sound, this beautiful town is renowned for its access to numerous nature trails, parks, and lakes. The local terrain and climate support year-round outdoor activities, ranging from hiking, camping, paddling, and bicycling in the warmer months to skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling throughout the winter season.

Join our team as an Administrative Assistant!

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day general office administration operations. In addition, this position will provide frontline reception and act as a first point of contact for the home with regard to telephone and in-person inquiries from residents, family members, community partners and other parties.

Key duties also include the bi-weekly preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring the accurate maintenance of resident records, establishing working and filing systems to ensure office documentation meets legal and legislative standards and assisting in maintaining resident trust accounts, administrator’s account and petty cash

We are looking for the following qualifications and traits:

  • Secondary School Diploma

  • Minimum 2 years’ office experience

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in related field an asset

  • Strong computer skills with a demonstrated ability to use a variety of software programs including the Google suite of programs

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Proficient at balancing multiple tasks and setting priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to communicate accurately with high attention to detail and maintain confidentiality

  • Customer Service experience an asset

  • Experience working with seniors an asset
