Under the direction of the Regional Director of Long-Term Care Operations, the Quality Systems Coordinator is responsible for coding, writing, and testing PCC software applications and quality systems across the Long-Term Care Division as well as modernizing and making approved changes in flow charts, processing logic, and code. The Quality Systems Coordinator will test and document all modifications, operational instructions, and fixed errors throughout the redevelopment and/or production life cycle. Where applicable, the PCC Program Manager shall also analyze and determine quality departmental programming needs in conjunction with the Regional Director of Long-Term Care Operations.
The following traits and qualifications are required:
Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in computer science, healthcare or business or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience required.
3 years of direct work experience in a PCC system management capacity Advanced overall knowledge of networking, operating system, and server architectures
Programming experience with enterprise-level PCC applications, such as CRM, BPM, PCC, UDA, etc.
Ability to write concise and accurate technical instructions throughout program development.
Ability to troubleshoot programming changes, errors, and subsequent modifications; must be able to do this with the work of other programmers.
Experience with computer flow charts and reporting methods.
Able to stay abreast of current and future technological developments or trends in the area of PCC.
Able to interpret the operational requirements of end users, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Highly effective project management skills.
Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences.
High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
Strong negotiation and prioritization skills.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of applicable IT laws and regulations.
Some experience managing budgets for an IT department.
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of relevant legislation is essential
Must be computer literate
Must possess valid Driver’s license and be willing to travel
