Join Our Team
We are seeking a temporary Administrator to support families and foster the healthy growth an development of children. Our programs help children to build self-confidence, learn healthy behaviours, and develop strong values. The Administrator will provide direct leadership, support and supervision to staff and volunteers. They are responsible for quality programming, delivery and maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This is a temporary position located in St. John's at the Brookfield District Child Care Centre with an estimated start date of September 15, 2025.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to work in regulated child care
- Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree with AECENL Certification
- Minimum Level 2 Certification with AECENL (Infant, Preschool and School Classification)
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and co-workers
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on an individual basis
