Forma Steel manufactures steel roofing, siding, trim, and custom panels in a variety of gauges, colors, and finishes for every structure. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, Alberta, approximately 25 minutes West of Lethbridge, in an enclosed plant that is open all year. 

 We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Forma Steel facility.

Role: Parts Clerk

Job Type: Full-time Permanent

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

This role  is responsible for picking and packing parts orders,  receiving and organizing incoming stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and helping customers with their orders.

• Use all  required PPE (hi-vis vest, safety glasses, earplugs, CSA-approved work boots, etc.).
• Take ownership of your work, ensuring precision and accuracy in order fulfillment
• Safely utilize the following equipment: pallet jack, rolling staircase, stepladder, mobile pneumatic cart, and weigh scale.

 Key Requirements:

• At least 6 months to 1 year of related experience.  
• Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office
• Strong customer service skills.
• Stand, walk, and sit for 8 hour shifts in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Lift, push, and pull 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to wear all required PPE (Steel toed boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, hi-vis vest, etc.).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Use hands for grasping, handling, and precision work.
• Stay alert and focused while operating machinery.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
