Forklift Yard Customer Service Supervisor
We are looking to
hire a Full Time Customer Service Forklift Supervisor for our Georgetown
location.
This is a hands‑on supervisory role where you will work directly in the
yard, serve customers, operate equipment and lead by example while overseeing
yard employees.
Job Duties: Hands-On Yard Responsibilities
- Serving customers in the yard and providing friendly, professional support
- Working with the public and delivering exceptional customer service
- Performing all physical yard tasks safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail
- Forklift operation
- Building loads accurately and efficiently
- Unloading trucks and organizing product
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide direction and task assignment to yard employees while working alongside them
- Ensure proper health & safety practices are followed at all times
- Complete required supervisor-on-duty paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organized and customer-ready yard
- Support training and mentoring of yard staff
Required Experience (Only candidates meeting all requirements will be considered)
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- Hands-on forklift experience
- Supervisory or team lead experience
- Building supply or lumber yard knowledge
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all climates
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliability and a positive, team-focused attitude
Hours of Work
Varying schedule including evenings and weekends.
