There is potential inside all of us—we all have it in us to shine.

Every charity exists to help solve a problem. Our charity exists to help solve many: childcare shortages, social isolation, mental health challenges, access to wellness, and more. Today, our network spans 100+ program locations across HRM and the province, responding to the most urgent needs in our communities. We provide mental health supports, accessible childcare, programs for a growing immigrant population, safe spaces where youth can grow and lead, guidance for navigating a precarious labour market, wellness programming for all, and opportunities for isolated older adults to connect.

We give people the tools, encouragement, and safe spaces they need to discover their inner strength. When people know someone is in their corner—offering unconditional support—they realize they can do more than they ever thought possible. It’s your support, expertise, and guidance that help individuals ignite their full potential and shape vibrant, healthy communities.

With us at their side, they can Shine On.

Total Compensation Includes:

  • Complimentary YMCA membership to our Health & Fitness facilities
  • Access to Y@Home fitness programs
  • Complimentary wellbeing and counselling services
