Grounds Assistant Worker

HOURS:       

a.   PART TIME:  2-4 days per week, 24 hours average per week, may vary in slow and busy seasons, more or less hours accordingly.   

b.   Earliest shift will start at 6:00 a.m., latest shift will end at 04:30 p.m.                   

c.   Weekdays, weekends and some holidays. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Responsible for maintaining Bavarian Inn Lodge high standards of working condition of buildings, grounds, equipment, and furnishing.  Responsible for preventative maintenance to minimize future problems and expenditures. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must be 18 years of age. 

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional knowledge equivalent to one year experience of light repair and maintenance.

Ability to continually reach, stretch, bend, lift items heavy weights (75 lbs.).

Ability to use/climb ladders, and be on feet for continuous length of time.

Valid state driver’s license required. 

Ability to drive Lodge vehicles and to be insured.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors year around.
