We are seeking a dedicated and detail – orientated HR Coordinator to join our team and support our human resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR and Safety functions, ensuring the smooth operations of HR processes and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Supporting the full recruitment process.

Maintaining our HRIS system and ensuring accuracy within the system.

Ensuring employee files are compliant.

Supporting the on and off-boarding process including but not limited to conducting orientations, creating onboarding plans, conducting exit interviews, new hire paperwork, ROE’s, reference checks. 

Processing employee requests including but not limited to employment verification letters, benefit change requests, compiling driver abstract information, entering time off requests.

Assisting with processing payroll. 

Compiling and running reports and sending to the appropriate department/leaders. 

Assisting with employee events and initiatives.

Entering and processing safety information as requested. 

Assisting the safety representative and safety committee as needed. 

Ensuring investigations and employee meetings are conducted and documented in accordance with company policies and procedures. 

Travelling as required.

Other assigned duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have: 

A minimum of 2 years’ Human Resources experience. 

Working towards continuous education or a designation in HR, or related field.  

Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully complete multiple projects within tight timelines. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity including the ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information with discretion. 

Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. 

A valid passport. 

Strong understanding of HR, Safety and payroll legislation, with a focus on ensuring compliance with relevant federal and provincial regulations.
