CMM Programmer, 1st Shift (6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs)

Win-Tech, Inc. is an AS9100 Precision Machine Shop housed in a 20,000 sq. ft. facility located in Kennesaw, GA.  The company serves as a job and production shop serving a diversified customer base, primarily in the aerospace and defense industry. 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented CMM Programmer with experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing. This role is responsible for developing, verifying, and maintaining coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programs and inspection plans for machined parts per AS9100 and customer requirements. You’ll work closely with our Quality and Machining teams to ensure all parts meet stringent specifications and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS software
  • Develop inspection plans and part setup instructions based on engineering drawings, models, and GD&T requirements
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with AS9102 standards
  • Analyze inspection data and assist in root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Support calibration, inspection documentation, and audit readiness activities
  • Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to improve manufacturing and inspection processes

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in CMM programming and inspection within an AS9100 or defense/aerospace environment
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and dimensional metrology principles
  • Experience with PC-DMIS or similar CMM software
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models (STEP, IGES, etc.)
  • Experience with manual inspection tools (micrometers, height gages, indicators, etc.)
  • Familiarity with AS9102, DFARS, and ITAR compliance is a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong math skills (understanding geometry, decimals, trigonometry, etc.)
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required

Education / Experience:

-          High School Diploma or Equivalent

-          Prior inspection experience is required

-          Prior CMM experience (running established programs: part set-up, running the program, interpreting the results, verifying any out-of-tolerance dimensions using an alternate method)

-          CMM programming (PC-DMIS is preferred)
