Enhanced Staff - Lindsay (Afterschool & Licensed Childcare) Jobclass 3 #42-25

Enhanced staff support children with physical, cognitive and/or behavioral needs to successfully integrate into programs. This part-time position specifically supports in the after school program and licensed childcare center.

 Qualifications:

-       Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.

-       Criminal Reference Check (18+ years of age) and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (19+ years of age) in accordance with the Police Record Checks Reform Act (PRCRA). Applications can be completed online through your local Police station.

-       Experience supporting children and youth with cognitive, physical and/or behavioral needs is mandatory

-       Experience supporting children and youth with self regulation strategies is an asset

-       High 5 Principles of Healthy Child Development or willingness to acquire.

-       Behavior Management Systems, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (or an approved equivalent) would be a strong asset.

-       SSW, CYW, Psychology, BSW, EA experience would be a strong asset.

Salary; $18.44 / hr. Afterschool, $20.44 / hr. Licensed childcare
