THE COMPANY:

Horizon Ag & Turf was established in 2024 as Agland and Martin Deerline merged operations. While the name is different, you can expect the same faces to greet you, quality equipment, timely service solutions and parts reliability when you walk into our dealership locations.

 THE POSITION:

Provide the right solutions for our clients by:

• Providing excellent customer service by proactively resolving our clients’ turf and small equipment needs.
• Assisting with the sale and transaction of products including Lawn Tractors, Gators, Compact Utility Tractors, Stihl, and other small Turf and lawn equipment.
• Describe features and benefits of products.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
• Follow up with purchases to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Presenting and demonstrating our equipment.
• Understanding finances, negotiations, and conflict resolution.
• Assisting with store displays to match current offers.
• Stay up to date with product specifications, industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through networking and referrals.
• Process sales transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
• Work closely with Service and Parts department to ensure full cycle customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Senior Sales Representatives and Managers to achieve sales targets and market share.

You’ll need a flexible schedule - prepared to provide after-hours support based on our client’s business needs. And, you have a clean drivers abstract - able to drive a truck & trailer.

Skills & Qualifications

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Basic understanding of sales techniques and customer service.

·        Strong interest in agriculture, turf equipment and outdoor power products.

·        Ability to learn technical product details quickly.

·        Self-motivated and goal oriented with a positive attitude.

·        Valid drivers license with a clean abstract (may require occasional travel)

Preferred Qualifications

·        Previous sales or customer experience

·        Knowledge of lawn tractors, turf equipment and compact utility tractors.

·        Experience in the agricultural, landscaping or equipment industry.
