Nursery/Perennial Department - Garden Centre

Do you have exceptional customer service skills? Do you have horticulture and garden centre experience? West Coast Floral is known for their family values, innovative-thinking and exceptional industry standards. We grow our own plants in our extensive greenhouses, having a nationwide wholesale and shipping division, and a thriving retail garden centre. Situated on 24 acres with over 3 million plants grown with a gorgeous destination garden centre specializing in ethically homegrown plants, for your home and garden.

Responsibilities

·        Ensure maintenance of all trees, shrubs and perennials

·        Work with inside staff and outside staff, to ensure that displays are compelling and are consistently maintained

·        Ensure plants are healthy and well cared for

·        Collaborating with Retail Manager on current trends, and outdoor visual displays

·        Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service

·        Attend weekly retail meetings

Qualifications

·        Minimum of 1 year of experience in landscaping, nursery or garden centre

·        Passion for plants and strong plant knowledge

·        Team player and excellent problem-solving skills

·        Ability to work with a team or individually

·        Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30lbs

·        Must have own transportation, not close to a bus route.
