Job Summary:
Ryse Solutions is seeking a highly analytical, organized, and execution-focused leader to manage and improve the company's business operating systems, transformation initiatives, process governance framework, and performance reporting infrastructure for a 2 year contract.
This newly created position will serve as the organizational owner of business operations, workflow optimization, process governance, data standards, AI and automation initiatives, and management reporting. The role is intended to support Ryse's next stage of growth by improving accountability, creating scalable business processes, and ensuring the organization realizes the benefits of its investments in technology and automation.
Acting as a strategic partner to Ryse leadership, the Manager will work across Partnerships & Client Success, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance, Operations, Finance, and corporate Technology to improve operational performance, standardize processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
Purpose of the Role
Ryse requires a dedicated business owner for its operating platform, systems, workflows, data governance, AI and automation roadmap, and management reporting processes. The organization has invested in CRM, supply chain portal, MS Business Central, the Producer facing Universal Portal (UP), reporting tools, and automation capabilities, but requires centralized ownership to establish priorities, drive adoption, ensure controls, and realize measurable business value.
The Manager will own business priorities, requirements, governance, controls, and organizational adoption. Technical execution may remain distributed among trained Ryse team members, corporate specialists, and external resources. This role is not intended to become Ryse's sole technical developer.
Position Description:
Business Operations Leadership
- Serve as Ryse's business owner for operational processes and systems.
- Establish and maintain business operating procedures across functions.
- Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, duplication, unclear hand-offs, and manual work.
- Design scalable workflows capable of supporting continued growth and major contract wins.
- Drive standardization, role clarity, and consistency across departments.
- Improve organizational effectiveness through process redesign and operating discipline.
Digital Transformation & Automation
- Own and maintain Ryse's digital transformation roadmap.
- Lead implementation of automation and process-improvement initiatives.
- Prioritize and manage the automation backlog based on risk, value, effort, and strategic importance.
- Coordinate resources across Ryse, corporate Technology, Finance, and external providers.
- Define expected benefits and measure productivity, control, service, and reporting improvements.
- Lead change management, communication, training, adoption, and reinforcement activities.
CRM, Portal & Business Systems Ownership
- Act as the business owner for the MS CRM, the Producer Universal Portal (UP), the supply chain portal, and relevant MS Business Central integrations.
- Establish governance, business rules, user standards, access requirements, and change-control processes.
- Define system requirements, enhancement priorities, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
- Coordinate testing, issue resolution, release readiness, and adoption of new functionality.
- Ensure business systems support operational objectives, regulatory requirements, reporting needs, and financial processes.
Data Governance & Reporting
- Develop and maintain common data definitions and reporting standards.
- Establish data-governance practices covering ownership, quality, access, controls, and issue resolution.
- Improve data quality, consistency, traceability, and reliability across systems and teams.
- Create and maintain management dashboards, internal reporting, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Translate operational data into timely, decision-useful insights for Ryse leadership.
Process Excellence & Documentation
- Own Ryse's process governance and SOP-management framework.
- Lead process mapping, documentation, workflow redesign, and control reviews.
- Ensure critical processes, including producer onboarding, are documented, current, controlled, and consistently applied.
- Establish process documentation, decision rights, hand-offs, and version control.
Project & Change Management
- Lead cross-functional transformation and organizational improvement initiatives from definition through implementation.
- Develop project plans, milestones, decision logs, risk registers, action trackers, and status reporting.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and resolve cross-functional dependencies and barriers.
- Coordinate implementation governance and ensure sustained adoption of new systems and processes.
- Provide concise progress, risk, and benefits-realization reporting
Team Leadership
- Provide direction and coaching to a small team of Analysts and Coordinators
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Operations Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, CBAP, or another relevant project, process, change, or business-analysis credential is an asset.
- Approximately 5 or more years of progressive experience in business operations, transformation, process improvement, business analysis, project management, internal consulting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and implementing organization-wide process or system changes.
- Experience owning business requirements, process design, user adoption, governance, and benefits realization for technology-enabled initiatives.
- Experience developing executive dashboards, operational reporting, KPIs, and management insights.
- Experience in a regulated, data-intensive, multi-stakeholder, professional-services, environmental-services, logistics, recycling, compliance, or industrial business is an asset.

- Experience with CRM platforms, workflow and automation tools, business intelligence tools, and enterprise financial or ERP systems.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000/year.
