Brightisle is looking for a sharp, strategic, and values-driven Director of Quality, Risk & Accreditation to anchor our organization in safety, excellence, and accountability — and help us reimagine what quality truly means in community health care.

What You’ll Do (Besides Be Awesome)
You’ll lead a high-impact portfolio that spans:
- Quality improvement – Lead the charge on smarter systems and better care.
- Risk management – Build frameworks that make people and processes safer.
- Occupational health & safety – Align safety with quality and risk strategy and keep humans at the center.
- Accreditation – Keep us ready for our close-up with external accrediting bodies like CARF and Accreditation Canada.

- Ensure compliance with privacy, ethics, and client safety standards
- Use data to drive real decisions — not just nice dashboards
- Coach a team of quality champions (and be one yourself)
- Collaborate across departments like it’s a team sport (because it is)
- Champion a culture of learning, curiosity, and transformation
What You Bring
- A degree in a health-related field (bonus points for a Master’s)
- 7+ years of leadership in healthcare or community-based services
- Deep experience in quality, risk, and accreditation (Lean or value-based care is a nice touch)
- Big-picture thinking, clear communication, and people-first leadership

This is a full-time permanent position with an amazing team! This is a new role that will allow you to work with the Senior Leadership Team to take quality and risk strategy to the next level. You will be based at the Brightisle Offices in St. John’s and be open to traveling across the province.
