Data and Reporting Analyst

RFNOW Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data and Systems Analyst to gather, analyze, and interpret data to generate actionable insights. The successful candidate will work in our Customer Experience team and alongside our Sales and Marketing teams to ensure accurate and efficient data reporting and support the organization's track KPIs. This role requires proficiency in data analysis tools, report creation, and an ability to translate complex data into clear, understandable reports for the data users. This is a temporary role for approximately one year.

Requirements

• Data Collection & Analysis:
  • Collect and organize data from various internal and external sources (databases, spreadsheets, ERP systems, etc.).
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by performing data validation and cleansing activities.

• Report Creation & Distribution:
  • Design and generate regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for internal stakeholders.
  • Create ad-hoc reports based on specific business needs, providing actionable insights.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate data in a user-friendly and insightful way.

• Data Management & Maintenance:
  • Maintain and update data repositories and reporting tools to ensure they are current and accurate.
  • Work with IT or development teams to improve data management systems and processes.

• Collaborating with Stakeholders:
  • Work closely with department heads, managers, and other teams to understand their reporting needs.
  • Provide data-driven insights and support decision-making by interpreting data findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Propose improvements in data quality, reporting tools, and techniques.

• Data Governance & Compliance:
  • Ensure data governance policies and compliance regulations are followed when collecting, analyzing, and reporting data.
  • Safeguard sensitive information and adhere to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.

• Proficient in Excel, with advanced knowledge of functions, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.

• Strong ability to interpret and analyze complex data and extract key insights.

• Ability to present data findings in a clear, concise, and actionable format.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Ability to identify issues in data or processes and propose effective solutions.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.

• Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools or data analytics platforms.

• Experience with PowerAutomate, PowerBI, and Microsoft SQL Server are considered assets.

• Experience with API development and system integrations is highly valued.

• Strong understanding of data schemas, field mapping, and data flow management

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, working under tight deadlines

• Excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt to evolving tasks
