Job Description

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will support the team with a range of marketing and promotional activities for ECO Canada’s products and services. This position requires some previous experience in key areas including digital advertising, content, and collateral development, email marketing, data analytics, and more.
While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of his/her ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.
The Digital Marketing Specialist supports marketing activities and is responsible for ensuring brand integrity across all digital mediums. Your key purpose is to ensure the accuracy of the information available to our customers and support the effectiveness of our marketing programs. As an integral part of the Marketing team, you will work on building diverse digital marketing strategies, create thoughtful content, and execute those initiatives across multiple channels, both externally and internally.
As a key member of the Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will have a passion for exceptional marketing campaigns, keen attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the team to implement and execute our digital marketing strategy.
- Manages and maintains company websites (WordPress).
- Prepare, design, and distribute external e-blasts.
- Research and audit third-party websites and social media channels.
- Write content for websites, email campaigns, newsletters, and more.
- Monitor, track, evaluate, and optimize campaign performance.
- Maintain and update content on the company website(s).
- Create and monitor key online marketing metrics to track success.
- Analyze digital marketing results and provide insights and recommendations.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends.
- Complete monthly reporting on a variety of metrics.
- Ad hoc marketing, communications, and administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
- Advanced WordPress knowledge and experience is considered an asset.
- Technical aptitude for working in multiple software programs and systems.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with teams and develop collaborative working relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical business conduct.
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in the field of marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- Excellent command of the English language, with a strong emphasis on written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with website content management, development, and writing for the web.
- Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as general computer skills including file management and data entry.
This is a full-time position, with a three-month probationary period upon the start date.
ECO Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days per week at the Calgary office and the option to work remotely for the remaining 2 days).
