Director, Case Strategy & Planning Operations

With the continued growth of its advisory practice, Platform Financial is expanding its team by appointing a Director, Case Strategy & Planning Operations to strengthen execution capacity across complex business-owner and high-net-worth files.
Platform Financial is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Director, Case Strategy & Planning Operations to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on both technical excellence and relationship-building. The Director will play a pivotal role in guiding complex client planning by:
• Owning the end-to-end flow of complex files
• Coordinating multi-party execution
• Protecting quality and velocity
• Reducing dependency on senior leadership for case management
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Case Ownership
• Manage complex business-owner and HNW files from intake through implementation
• Coordinate with clients, accountants, lawyers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
• Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively resolve them
• Ensure documentation and underwriting packages are complete before escalation
• Write smaller business as needed to support workflow continuity
• Develop concise summary reports and internal presentation decks to broaden our library of case studies and documented strategies, supporting ongoing education and knowledge‑sharing across the organization
2. Planning & Product Fluency
• Understand life insurance structures, corporate-owned policies, and estate planning applications
• Prepare, review and compare illustrations and planning materials for completeness and logic
• Translate strategy discussions into structured execution steps
• Support preparation of planning summaries and client-ready materials
• Maintain working knowledge of industry compliance requirements and best practices
• Champion internal policies and procedures related to sales practices, underwriting standards, AML, and documentation discipline
3. Operational Governance
• Maintain file readiness standards
• Conduct full internal audits of files once the policy has been placed
• Improve workflow clarity and prioritization
• Reinforce documentation discipline
• Create repeatable execution processes across cases
• Improve workflows and standardization of processes
• Provide ongoing reporting to Senior Management on pipeline, underwriting status and placed policies on an ongoing basis
4. Platform Support & Capacity Relief
• Free senior leadership from day-to-day file navigation
• Increase throughput without sacrificing quality
• Strengthen internal visibility into pipeline and workload
• Support the development of scalable internal infrastructure as the practice grows
• Serve as a systems champion for EPIC, HubSpot, and future technology tools, ensuring data integrity, process alignment, and consistent usage across the team
5. Strategic Marketing & Content Enablement
• Develop, refine, and maintain a library of high quality marketing and educational materials that support client conversations and advisor enablement.
• Translate complex planning concepts into clear, compelling visual and written assets (e.g., one pagers, case studies, strategy summaries, explainer decks).
• Identify opportunities to introduce new marketing collateral as planning trends evolve, client needs shift, or new strategies emerge.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure all materials reflect current technical accuracy, brand voice, and compliance standards.
• Maintain version control, quality standards, and documentation discipline across all marketing assets.
Experience
• LLQP license
• Understands product deeply
• Has led or co-led client discussions in the past
• Prefers structured execution and problem-solving over business development
• Has strong operational and organizational skills and attention to detail
• Has the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Has experience with EPIC (required) and CRM systems such as HubSpot, with the ability to quickly learn and adopt additional applications as the platform expands
Salary Range $80,000 to $90,000 not including bonus
