Reporting to: General Manager Construction Enterprises


Position Summary

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team on a specific construction project. This is a contract position reporting administratively to the General Manager Construction Enterprises and works day-to-day under the direction of the the Senior Project Coordinator and/or Project Manager for the assigned project. The Project Coordinator will provide technical and administrative support to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with the project team, consultants, sub-trades, and support staff.


Key Deliverables and Expectations

· Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental protection by supporting the implementation of the HSE program and compliance with applicable regulations.

· Maintain project management systems and procedures, including digital platforms, filing systems, cost accounting, and project directories.

· Perform administrative and record-keeping tasks: review and distribute documentation, prepare correspondence, submittals, and RFIs, maintain logs and specifications, and record accurate meeting minutes.

· Assist with development and implementation of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

· Support subcontract procurement by obtaining quotations, reviewing specifications, and requesting clarifications.

· Assist with invoice and progress claim reviews and processing.

· Support change order management by securing pricing, reviewing data, submitting requests for approval, and processing contract changes.

· Prepare for project close-out by collecting warranties, O&M manuals, occupancy documents, and creating handover packages.

· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with trades and suppliers.

· Perform other related duties as required.


Experience and Attributes

· 2–5 years of related experience on projects ranging from $5M–$20M (commercial) or $1M–$10M (residential), or equivalent education and experience.

· Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.

· Familiarity with current construction practices and methodologies.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.

· Ability to solve technical problems using defined procedures.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with scheduling software is an asset.

· Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and basic accounting functions.

· Adaptability and willingness to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

· Strong written communication skills.
