Join Our Team
We are seeking a Supervisor, Housekeeping to join our team. The Supervisor would be responsible for overseeing the Housekeeping team to ensure members are provided with a clean and safe environment. You will be responsible for the scheduling of the housekeeping team, help coordinate activities or events, maintain the required cleaning supply inventory and actively clean the facility. This position is based out of St. John's at the Ches Penney Family YMCA with an expected start date of September 2, 2025.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one years experience cleaning large facilities
- Able to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting or reaching
- Experience in scheduling, coaching and supervising a team
- Experience in maintaining inventory and establishing and implementing operational procedures
- Available to work flexible shifts including, evenings and weekends
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, Word and Excel is considered an asset
- Standard First Aid and CPR
- Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on an individual basis
