ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager passionate about great local food to join our team! The Assistant Store Manager leads a collaborative leadership team with the main objective of driving the store's overall success. This includes working with the Store Manager to ensure business growth and success while supporting the front end operations and overall business goals.
- Customer Experience: Deliver an exceptional shopping environment with strong merchandising and in-stock standards, resolving customer concerns effectively, and collaborating across department teams to increase engagement and sales.
- Financial Performance: Manage store sales, gross margin, payroll, and inventory controls, with the Store Manager and Department Managers to identify growth opportunities, reduce shrink, and maximize profitability.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize operations through effective scheduling, cash handling, inventory management, and consistent execution of procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- People Leadership: Lead, develop, and hold team members accountable by fostering a high-performance culture, supporting training and coaching, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE
- Compensation includes a base salary of $62,000 to $70,000 (based on related experience) plus a performance bonus tied to KPIs

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 2+ years of management/supervisory experience in a retail or grocery environment
- Experience with inventory systems, ordering processes, and loss prevention strategies
- Familiarity with scheduling, team management, and creating positive customer experiences
