Title: Opportunity Program Intern 
Location: Multiple SCP Sites — The Safe Café, The Treehouse, Construction, and more
Employment: Part-Time, 2–6 hours/week to start
Compensation: $15.35/hr (paid internship phase) | Volunteer phase first
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Flexible

Street Culture Project is launching the Opportunity Program — a paid internship and volunteer initiative for youth aged 15–29. We know that finding work can be hard, especially when life outside of work is stressful. This program is built to meet you where you are: hands-on training, regular mentorship, financial tools, and a team that is genuinely invested in your success.

You will start as a volunteer so we can get to know each other. When you're ready, you move into a paid internship — on your timeline, with our support.

You will:

•  Choose a pathway that matches your interests — Creator, Connector, or Organizer

•  Work alongside a mentor to learn real tasks in a real workplace

•  Attend weekly check-ins and goal-setting sessions with your program lead

•  Practice communicating with supervisors — even when things are hard outside of work

•  Build a personal plan for your goals, finances, and next steps

•  Participate in resume-building, interview practice, and career planning workshops

•  Clock in and out through Payworks — learning how real pay and scheduling works

Additional Requirements

•  Criminal Record Check — SCP covers the cost during the volunteer phase

•  Personal email address — needed for HRIS and SCP Intranet access

•  No certifications or education level required

•  Ages 15–29
