Our latest venture is ROAR, our live-fire restaurant in Tofino, BC. We are searching for a Product & Field Marketing Manager to join our flock of totally unique and fun-loving individuals to drive our business forward in the long term.
This role reports to the Director of Marketing and is a key player in the organization, combining strategical product positioning with regional execution to drive demand, adoption and revenue.

What the Role is Quacked Up to Be
Reporting to our Director of Marketing you will be our driving force for building guest demand. You will work closely with the Wolfpack (this is what we call our Sales team), the Revenue team and the Marketing team to strategize and execute go-to-market campaigns and projects. You will define positioning, create messaging, launch products, and enable sales teams, while also creating localized campaigns, events, and field-level content to drive demand.
In your first 3 months, you will…
Work closely with Rachel, our VP of Sales, Marketing & Revenue, to understand the current state of our Marketing programs
Meet with department leaders to understand how their teams have historically used Marketing initiatives and to gather any feedback
Work with the Wolfpack and Revenue to understand their current needs and what the future holds
Review competitor landscapes and guest feedback to gain an understanding of our guest profiles and needs
Start travelling to our various properties to get to know all three brands, their locations and their features
Run through all Marketing, Sales & Revenue programs and the current roadmap to identify our needs and priorities for the future
In your first 12 months, you will…
Own all product positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies
Be continuously gathering and interpreting data on competitors and guests to translate into refined marketing strategies
Be the conduit to our ideal customer and represent their voice through the organization
Measure Marketing ROI and track user acquisition, activation and retention – bridging product capabilities and customer benefits
Create marketing plans to support sales pipeline and guest acquisition
Be travelling to attend internal and external events (Pride, WORTH), reporting on ROI
Collaborate with the Wolfpack to build localized marketing plans, provide sales tools and drive lead generation and pipeline
Provide actionable sales collateral
Have a successful partnership with the Operations team to provide templates and messaging guides to enhance the guest experience, and help standardize processes and training across all our properties
Have built relationships across all of our hotels and teams, from front desk and room attendants to General Managers and our Care Bears.
This exciting role will help shape how our brands evolve at Accent Inns/Hotel Zed/ROAR. This role partners closely with multiple departments across all business functions and properties. Communication, alignment and developing close relationships with key stakeholders will be key in ensuring the success of this role. You will spend 25% of your time travelling to our various locations throughout the year to have on-site presence.
What to expect

First Interview (45min): You will meet with Laura, our HR Business Partner, to have an initial call to discuss your experience and answer your questions about Accent Inns/Hotel Zed/ROAR.
Second Interview (60min): Meet Diane, our Director of Sales, and Rachel, our VP of Sales, Marketing & Revenue to discuss your technical expertise, what the role will look like long term, and answer more of your questions.
Take-Home Project (2-3 hours): You will receive more details and instructions after your second interview. You will be compensated for your time working on this project.
Final Interview (45min): Debrief your take-home project with Rachel, as well as answer any remaining questions on either end.
