Hard and Soft Floor Technician

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Floor Care Technician to join our team and perform a variety of Floor Care tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our clients facility. The Floor Technician will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on Floor equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment, checking and replacing replaceable parts, and inspecting equipment for proper operation

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, including auto scrubbers, slow speed scrubbers, high speed burnishers, Wet/ Dry vacuums , carpet extraction machines, 

• Respond to communication requests and emergencies in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate records of activities and equipment and supply inventory

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment 

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience of Floor care or in a similar role

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and 

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
