About the Role
The Hospitality and Services Manager oversees all guest-facing service departments including lodging, guest services, housekeeping, front-of-house restaurant service, and employee housing at Moutcha Bay Resort. The role ensures exceptional guest experiences, leads frontline supervisors, maintains high standards of service and safety, and supports smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure all guest-facing departments deliver consistent, high-quality service aligned with resort standards.
· Oversee daily operations across guest services, housekeeping, FOH dining, and employee housing.
· Address escalated guest concerns and maintain strong on-floor presence to identify needs and service opportunities.
· Lead, mentor, and support supervisors and frontline staff; facilitate onboarding, training, and performance management.
· Manage departmental scheduling, staffing, inventory, and supply procurement.
· Support financial management through budgeting, payroll accuracy, cost control, and inventory tracking.
· Conduct routine audits of guest rooms, staff housing, and public areas for cleanliness, safety, and readiness.
· Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, OH&S, and resort policies; support emergency preparedness and incident response.
· Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Staff Chef, and other managers to align guest experience with operational needs.
· Maintain strong administrative oversight, including SOP updates, communication materials, reporting, and use of Maestro.
Qualifications
Required
· 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, lodging, or guest service leadership
· Supervisory experience with housekeeping, guest services, or food and beverage teams
· Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and customer service skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest focused environment with fluctuating demands
· Proficient with scheduling, payroll systems, and administrative workflows
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and resort management software (Maestro preferred)
Preferred
· Experience managing remote fishing or wilderness lodges
· Knowledge of west coast saltwater fishing operations
