With a recently acquired second facility, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth and expansion. 

The Supply Planner ensures that customer demand is translated into feasible production, inventory, and distribution plans. This role balances service levels, working capital, and operational constraints to keep products flowing efficiently from cultivation to customer, while considering cannabis-specific requirements such as freshness, shelf-life, and compliance. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop production and supply plans aligned with sales forecasts and inventory targets. 

  • Build and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) across sites and 3PL partners. 

  • Monitor capacity, labor, and material availability to ensure feasible production plans. 

  • Partner with Procurement and Operations to manage replenishment, lead times, and constraints. 

  • Manage inventory policies (safety stock, days of supply, allocations) with a focus on freshness and shelf-life. 

  • Provide visibility of risks, shortages, and opportunities in S&OP cycles. 

  • Track KPIs such as OTIF, Plan Adherence, Inventory Turns, and Capacity Utilization. 

  • Drive continuous improvement in supply planning processes, master data governance, and reporting tools. 

 

Knowledge & Experience 

  • 5+ years of supply planning, production planning, or materials planning in CPG, food, pharma, or cannabis. (cannabis or regulated industry experience a plus). 

  • Strong ERP skills (any; D365 BC is a plus) with hands-on experience in MRP/MPS modules. 

  • Strong Excel skills; experience with Power Query. 

  • Knowledge of capacity planning, inventory management, and replenishment strategies. 

  • APICS CPIM/CSCP certification is an asset.
