Job Description

Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for a performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. Reporting to the Director, Certification, the successful candidate will have a passion for the environment and experience in administrative support and outreach/sales.

As a key member of the Certification team, the Outreach and Engagement Assistant will be responsible for supporting key acquisition and promotional initiatives.

While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of their ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with outreach campaigns to potential applicants through email, phone calls, and social media platforms.
  • Support the creation and delivery of engaging content to educate applicants about the certification process and benefits.
  • Coordinate follow-ups with leads to encourage application completion.
  • Analyze applicant conversion data and provide recommendations to improve outreach strategies.
  • Assist in planning and executing webinars or in-person events to promote certification programs.
  • Provide administrative support for ongoing applicant engagement initiatives.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications and Education

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, preferably in marketing, communications, environmental sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with customer service, outreach, or sales considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM platforms (preferred).
  • Interest in environmental sustainability and workforce development.
  • Fluent in English – Fluency in French is considered an asset.
  • Committed, self-motivated and a great attitude.
