Position Overview:

We are looking for reliable and hardworking General Labourers with construction experience to assist with various manufacturing projects. This role involves physical work and supporting skilled tradespeople in completing projects. Ideal candidates should be motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn. Key Responsibilities:

• Tool & Equipment Use: Operate basic hand and power tools to assist in construction tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency.

• Construction Assistance: Help with basic construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, insulation, and other interior finishing work.

• Shop Preparation & Cleanup: Prepare job site by clearing debris, moving materials, and ensuring the workspace is organized. Clean up at the end of each project to maintain a safe and tidy environment.

• Material Handling: Assist with lifting and moving materials, ensuring proper storage and transportation on-site.

• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and work to maintain a safe work environment.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including skilled tradespeople, taking direction from supervisors and department heads to complete tasks efficiently.

• General Labour Support: Perform general labour duties as required, including assisting with tool setup, mixing materials, or providing support to senior staff and tradespeople.

  Requirements:

• Physical Strength & Stamina: Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

• Basic Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools; experience with construction equipment is a plus.

• Safety Awareness: A commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

• Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.

• Ability to Work in Various Conditions: Comfortable working in different weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) and in varying environments. While most work will be performed indoors, the shop environment can still be affected by external temperatures.

• Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse group of workers.

• Eagerness to Learn: Open to receiving instruction and guidance from more experienced tradespeople to further develop skills.

  Physical Requirements:

• Strength & Stamina: Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for long hours.

• Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for tasks requiring precision.

• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a variety of positions, such as bending, lifting,

  crouching, and standing.

• Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in all weather conditions (cold, heat, rain,

  etc.), depending on job site requirements.

  Compensation:

  Starting at $21 to $24 based upon previous experience
