Small Area Manager
The Small Area Manager (“SAM”) manages multiple corporate stores in an assigned area. He/she acts as a go-between of the Support Centre and the assigned Kin’s Farm Market corporate chain store by communicating, carrying out and enforcing policies, procedures, practices, systems and guidelines set forth by the Company. He/she mentors and provides advice to Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers within the area and is responsible for training, coaching, store compliance, customer service experience and keep them motivated in achieving operational goals (profitability, increasing customer numbers, employee readiness, etc.) and efficiencies. The position is also responsible for activities associated with the growth and expansion of the Company.
As a Small Area Manager, you will…

Multi-store Management Duties:
· Oversee all Kin’s Farm Market - Franchise Stores.
o Franchisee Supervisor
o Conduit for Communication
o Business Advisor and Coach
o Trainer
· Oversee – Outlet Store(s)
o Provide maximum support for Outlet
o Track monthly sales
o Track document submissions
· Oversee and manage Corporate Stores as assigned.
o Conduct regular stores visit,
o Conduct weekly Monday Morning Huddles with respective stores
o Monitor, guide and advise Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers to operate a Kin’s Farm Market retail store effectively
o Maintain the company quality and merchandising standards in order to reach optimum profitability.
· Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doing; reads Market News, Operation News and any other communication from Kin’s and implements any updates within the required time frame.
· Study and analyze store performance reports and income statements, discuss action plan with store management to improve store performance and efficiency
· Act as liaison between stores and suppliers; assists to distribute produce to stores according to its needs.
· Involve in the settlement of claim disputes between Store Managers and suppliers or any other 3rd parties.
· Prepare sales reports and/or any other forms of analyses as required from time to time.
· Develop business strategies to raise the customer pool, expand stores’ traffic and optimize profitability.
· The SAM must be capable of operating a store.
· Support Operations with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) updates.
· Support the opening and closing of stores when needed.
· Attend and participate in weekly Product Plan meetings.
· Manage all people management duties related to all employees within the district.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a retail environment, bachelor’s degree in business or other related field.
- Able to think strategically and take action in executing our strategic plan; cares about planning, results and timelines without compromising the required standards and quality.
- Possess a strong passion and commitment to grow with the Company and take initiatives to learn, to manage and to contribute to its growth and expansion.
- Strong leadership, communication, good problem solving and decision making skills.
- Able to inspire, motivate and coach employees and cultivate teamwork; be prepared to roll up his/her sleeves to hands on managing assigned stores’ performance.
- Able to work 41.25 hours per week and work on weekends.
- Able to teach Kin’s U modules.
- Able to facilitate seminars, workshops, meetings and discussions.
- Must be a self-starter with strong initiative.
