About the Role
Join the team at Kokanee Springs Resort as a Golf Course Greenskeeper! You’ll play a key role in maintaining the golf course and surrounding areas to ensure exceptional playing conditions and a beautiful environment for guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of golf course grounds, including mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough.
- Maintain bunkers, move tee markers and cups, repair divots and ball marks.
- Assist with spring cleanup, fall shutdown, and winterization.
- Maintain walkways, cart paths, drainage channels, and waterways.
- Operate and care for golf course maintenance equipment safely.
- Assist with landscaping and renovation projects as needed.
- Help maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment facilities and staff areas.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting to 25 kg).
- Experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is an asset.
- Ability to safely operate equipment (manual transmission or hydrostatic drive).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to start early (as early as 4:30 am) and work weekends.
- Steel-toe boots required; work gloves and rain gear recommended.
