The Alberta New Home Warranty Program Group of Companies (ANHWP Group), is Alberta’s most experienced and most trusted new home warranty provider and educator for homebuilders. As Alberta’s leader in new home warranty products and services for 50 years, we continue to raise the bar to meet the needs of homeowners and our Builder Members.

 

This position resides with The New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC) and works alongside The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP)  and the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta (PHBI) and Dweller Home Services.

 

Accountable for:

The successful incumbent will be accountable for data entry, document management, and various administrative tasks that support the efficient operation of the department. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Work location:

Calgary, Alberta

 

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk:

·         Accurately input and update data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and data consistency across files.

·         Ability to run spreadsheets, keep communications in order, update clients, cost wise, track all the contractor invoicing

·         Organize, retrieve, and manage electronic and physical documents.

·         Assist in preparing, scanning, and filing documentation for department files.

·         Provide administrative support, as required.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
  • Strong typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with residential construction terminology and practices an asset.
  • Experience in Salesforce or CRM database systems an asset.

 

Knowledge:

·         High school diploma or equivalent required

·         1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a construction or home building setting

·         Experience with data and records management

 

Wage: $18/hour, 35 hours per week for the summer duration, then 2-3 days part time in the fall
