Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

1. Customer & Supplier liaison dealing with Quality requirements

2. Seamless interfacing within the organization & departments

3. Preparing documents, presentations, studies, analysis reports, quality related documentation, technical support, problem resolution reports and work instructions

4. Proficient knowledge of APQP process

5. Creating CMM programs to qualify part conformance

6. Performing correct use of measuring devices & systems

7. Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing activities required for Quality activities

8. Applies knowledge and experience of quality principles such as TQM, PDCA, FTQ, statistical data and trending analysis

9. Traveling to customer and supplier sites

10. Conducting supplier audits in accordance with IATF / VDA / CQI

11. Supplier development and on-site support

12. Other duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications:

1. Completed technical degree

2. Commercial understanding

3. Several years of professional experience in the technical field (preferably in the automotive sector)

4. Proficient knowledge of APQP process

5. Application knowledge of IATF16949

6. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and various quality procedures and methods (Automotive Core Tools / PFMEA / SPC / 8D-Process / CP / MSA / Gauge R&R / GD&T)

7. IT skills (MS Office / SAP / MiniTab / IMDS)                                                                                                             

8. Structured way of working

9. Ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, customers and suppliers

10. Strong problem-solving mindset
