Position Overview
We’re seeking a motivated Account
Manager who is passionate about helping clients succeed with energy field
technology. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for a
portfolio of clients, ensuring they’re getting full value from their current
AbaData solutions while identifying opportunities to introduce new features and
products that support their operations.
You’ll work closely with field teams, understand the day-to-day challenges they face, and help guide them toward better workflows and stronger data. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who sees the potential in transforming field operations through intuitive software and wants to play a key role in shaping how the industry evolves.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with a portfolio of clients across Western Canada.
- Ensure successful onboarding, adoption, and usage of current AbaData products across field and office teams.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell solutions that align with client goals and operational needs.
- Represent AbaData at industry events and conferences, sharing insights and building awareness of our solutions.
- Conduct live product demonstrations, both in the field and in office settings, to help clients understand the full capabilities of our platform.
- Act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with internal teams to ensure our products are continuously improving to meet field and operational needs.
- Partner with leadership to develop client strategies and define key account metrics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of account management in the energy sector, ideally with exposure to field operations or surface land.
- Experience with field-based technologies, GIS, or regulatory workflows is an asset.
- Comfortable with technical concepts and able to translate software capabilities into practical outcomes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into practical, real-world applications for operators.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced, growing company.
