This full-time position has a contract length subject to change based on the demands of the season.  Let us know your availability between May 1 – Sept 30!

Requirements of a Room Attendant and Server

·        Outstanding customer service skills.

·        2 or more years of Front-of-house restaurant and/or housekeeping experience.

·        Excellent organizational and time management skills.

·        Ability to climb stairs, and work while standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending.

·        A commitment to cleanliness by having a strong attention to detail.

·        Ability to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 30 pounds.

·        Serving It Right Certification.

·        WHMIS Certification.

Duties of a Room Attendant and Server:

·        Food and Beverage service for morning and evening meals.

·        Prepare, set, and clear tables according to standards, paying special attention to cleanliness and atmosphere.

·        Take guests beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.

·        Serving food to guests as prepared by the kitchen in a timely manner.

·        Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas.

·        Stocking supplies for the department.

·        Wash, dry, and fold laundry according to housekeeping procedures.

·        Work safely and in compliance with WorkSafeBC.

·        Answer questions about the resort, and the local area with a positive attitude.

·        Continuously communicate with other service team members in a respectful and proactive manner
