Summer Students Direct Support Professionals

Gateway Resources provides support to adults with an intellectual disability.  

We are looking for summer students to assist us in multiple departments through the summer months through the Canada summer Jobs Program.  These positions will be 35 hours per week from May until the end of August. 

We have position:

Recycling or Woodroom (sorting or building pallets and crates)

Lifeskills (helping teach skills, summer kids camp activities, mowing lawns and recreational activities in the community)

Residential  (helping with people in their homes)

REQUIREMENTS: 

Be enrolled in a college or university program and returning to school in the fall

Be 18 years or older

Submit a clear Criminal Record and Adult abuse registry 

1st Aid and CPR 9or willing to train)
