Store Personnel
The Campground Store Personnel is located at Bow Valley Provincial Park near Canmore, AB. The store personnel is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests in the campground store, assisting with reservations, maintaining the cleanliness of the comfort station and ensuring a welcoming environment throughout the campground. This role involves handling transactions, managing the store’s inventory, assisting with guest check-ins and providing information about campground operations and local attractions. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
We have multiple Seasonal Store Personnel positions available, with flexible contract dates ranging from April to October. Some roles are for the full season, while others are for shorter periods.

Duties and Responsibilities
Front-Line Customer Service:
Greet customers with a smile and respond to requests and needs quickly in a friendly, courteous, and effective manner.
Provide front-line customer service at the store, reservations counter, and over the phone.
Take personal responsibility to resolve customer complaints and problems, and refer them to management if they cannot be resolved immediately.
Guest Check-Ins and Reservations:
Assist guests with check-in procedures for their campground reservations.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately for store purchases and reservations.
Store Operations:
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves, cleaning surfaces, and maintaining a tidy environment.
Monitor inventory levels and restock items as needed to ensure availability for customers.
Identify and address any safety issues in the store, and report them to management or the appropriate personnel if needed.
Comfort Station Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize the comfort station, including showers and bathrooms, multiple times daily to ensure a high standard of hygiene.
Restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, and ensure all fixtures are in working order.
Report any maintenance issues in the comfort station to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
Campground and Local Area Knowledge:
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of campground operations, including site locations, hours of operation, costs, and activity schedules.
Provide guests with information about local area attractions, activities, and directions as needed.
Possess a working knowledge of the area map to guide customers to the campground location when necessary.
Key Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar role preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred or currently enrolled).

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Current First Aid Level 1
Criminal Record Check (required prior to hiring, cost will be reimbursed, employment contingent on clear record)
