The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, administering, and implementing training and onboarding programs. This role ensures that all new colleagues receive consistent, high-quality training on systems, tools, workflows, protocols, and procedures to support operational excellence within the firm. • Plan, administer and implement training and onboarding programs ensuring all new colleagues receive consistent and high-quality training on systems, tools, workflows, protocols, and procedures including Epic, CSR24, Erlon, Microsoft Teams and other Office 365 products.
• Working closely with the Operations team and hiring managers, review work completed by new colleagues on a regular cadence (weekly is suggested) to ensure compliance with documented procedures with in their first 30 days
• Complete assessments using evaluation methodologies and tools that measure the impact of successful knowledge transfer from internal training programs.
• Perform skills gap analysis to determine training needs of new and existing PLATFORM colleagues with a report to leadership every six months highlighting trends and recommendations
• Identify &/or develop resources (ie. job aids, checklists etc.) to help colleagues learn new technical skills &/or reinforce PLATFORM workflows, protocols, and procedures
• Develop and maintain effective communication to promote learning and development initiatives to increase awareness of new and existing workflows, protocols, and procedures
• Coordinate and lead more in-depth lunch and learns to enhance colleague skills on internal processes
• Ability to travel to other office locations across Canada
Education, Experience & Qualifications
• Five (5) years of experience in Commercial Insurance or Surety
• Advanced Knowledge of Applied Epic, Microsoft Office 365
• Knowledge of Erlon is an asset
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
• Post-Secondary education preferred
