The Controller reports directly to the Director of Accounting and Administration and is responsible for overseeing the Corporate Accounting and Shared Services functions. The role provides leadership and guidance to the Accounting, Payroll, AP/AR, and Administrative teams, ensuring effective workflow management, strong internal controls, and high-quality financial reporting. The Controller supports system design, corporate financial reporting, and regulatory reporting requirements while advising the Director and operations on financial performance, system enhancements, and compliance. 

The following traits and qualifications are required:

• Post secondary school Degree/Diploma in Business or Accounting.

• CPA Preferred

• Seven (7) years’ management experience or progressive financial experience

• Proficient with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

• Experience with Accounting Software
