Essential Functions
- Mentor and develop system specialists to enhance skills, professionalism, and technical ability.
- Provide performance management, feedback, and coaching for direct reports. Create and execute training plans.
- Assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee field teams to ensure schedules are maintained and projects progress efficiently.
- Recruit, hire, and retain team members while fostering a supportive, performance-based culture.
- Maintain expertise in Distech Controls, building automation systems, and Smart Building Technologies.
- Drive quality and safety standards, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, configure, and repair building automation systems and related equipment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and commissioning agents to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in electrical or mechanical construction, with 4–6 years of supervisory experience in HVAC controls or building automation.
- Technical Skills: High competency in building automation systems, Tridium Niagara, and Distech Controls.
- Leadership: Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams. Strong planning, client relations, and communication skills.
- Additional Skills: High ethical standards, decision-making quality, and a results-driven mindset.

- Competitive Pay: $50-$65 per hour. Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, several factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
