Available Opportunities

Please outline in your application which type(s) of roles you are interested in and we will reach out to you once our funding has been approved:

  1. Youth Care Practitioners are a vital force in our youth's journey of hope and healing by supporting day-to-day functions of youths-in-care, providing individualized healing plans, and working from a need-based, trauma-informed, relational child and youth care approach.
  2. Family Support Workers operate from a person-centered, non-judgmental and trauma-informed, strengths based philosophy in order to support youths to engage in healthy activities and facilitate supervised overnight family visits for children and their families.
  3. Maintenance Workers are the forefront of ensuring the facilities operate seamlessly by performing general and infrastructure maintenance, landscaping, painting, carpentry, and routine inspection following the organization's workplace health and safety standards. 
  4. Administrative Roles play a key part in facilitating efficient day-to-day activities in the organization by managing office tasks, organizing schedules, replenishing office supplies, and ensuring smooth operations.

Eligibility

  • Youths aged 15 to 29 years old

Conditions of Employment

  • Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C, or willingness to obtain
  • The candidate will be responsible for service charges and results for a Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, a clear Child Abuse Registry Check with acceptable Prior Contact Checks and a clear Adult Abuse Registry Check, all done within the last 3 months

Position Status: full-time with varied availability required for days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Employment will begin from May up to end of September 2024 only

Salary Range: Starting at $15.30 to $18.00 per hour
