Parish Tractor is expanding, and we’re looking for a
motivated and dependable individual to join our Gonzales, LA team in a dual
role as a CDL Driver/Yard Support. If you enjoy a mix of driving and
hands-on yard work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this opportunity is

Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll help maintain the organization and
cleanliness of our outdoor lot and shop areas, assist with equipment movement
and deliveries, and support the service team with basic tasks. As a CDL driver,
you’ll be responsible for safely loading, securing, and transporting
agricultural and turf equipment for customers and dealership needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize the outdoor equipment lot and display areas
- Receive and unload incoming equipment shipments
- Safely move Kubota equipment and attachments around the property
- Perform basic equipment setup for display or delivery
- Wash and detail tractors and utility vehicles as needed
- Support service, sales, rental, and parts departments with staging, transporting, and workspace upkeep
- Ensure yard cleanliness and organization
- Complete pickups and deliveries using company vehicles
- Verify delivery loads against dispatch paperwork
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driver experience
- Valid CDL and current health card required
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Proficient in operating a range of vehicles, including 3/4 -ton trucks with gooseneck trailers and day cab semi-trucks with air brakes
- Experience with commercial vehicles and small construction /agricultural equipment preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
- Compliance with all State and Federal DOT regulations
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and driving
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
